Do you know how to complain?

Amélie Housing  has a goal support all our tenants to understand their rights. This includes knowing how to make a complaint.

In  2020 we asked tenants to participate in a survey distributed by  the NSW Community Housing Industry Association.

  •  18% of tenants who completed the survey were unsure of how to  make a complaint to  Amélie Housing.
  • 19% of tenants who completed the survey did not know how to make a complaint to Amélie Housing.

In 2021, the survey was conducted again.

  • 18% of tenants who completed the survey were unsure of how to  make a complaint to  Amélie Housing.
  • 18% of tenants who completed the survey did not know how to make a complaint to Amélie Housing.

This is a problem! We would like to change this so 100% of our tenants know how make a complaint to Amélie Housing. To meet this goal,  we need your help.

We made resources to support you to learn more about the complaints process.

On this page, you will find a podcast, and a presentation to scroll through to help you understand how to complain, who can help you complain and the types of service decisions you can complain about.
